The TISAB II also reduces interferences from a low pH and from interfering ions that will complex with fluoride,  making it not detectable by the ISE.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis solution is used to calibrate the fluoride solid state ion selective electrode (ISE). Hanna ISE standard solutions are manufactured with high purity chemicals and bottled in our own state-of-the-art facility. ISEs require calibration for accurate readings when performing measurement techniques such as direct measurement and incremental methods. Calibration should be performed at a minimum of two points accuracy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe HI4010-12 standard comes premixed with TISAB II (Total Ionic Strength Adjuster Buffer),  and is ready to use for calibration. It is important that if the calibration standard has TISAB II then the sample must also have TISAB II added in the same proportions. Users that calibrate with the HI4010-12 must add TISAB II to their sample.
