Hanna offers two portable photometers for the grading of maple syrup and honey. The HI96759 Maple Syrup portable photometer and HI96785 Honey color analyzer are used to compare the transmittance of light of a glycerol reference standard to the respective sample. Both the HI96759 and HI96785 use 10 mm sample cuvettes and are calibrated to 100% transmittance with a glycerol standard. The HI93703-56 is a kit that contains 90 disposable plastic cuvettes, glycerol reference standard, and 5 ml plastic syringes.
