HI779 follows the same principle as chemical test kits and swimming pool litmus papers, but with one key advantage. The value is in fact determined electronically, thanks to a light source and a photodetector, which precisely detect the color produced by the reaction of the sample with phenol red. So you no longer have to guess what color the sample is to determine the pH. The instrument offers extremely greater sensitivity than the human eye and can detect pH values with resolution down to 0.1 pH.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe shape of the tool fits perfectly in your palm and pocket, and the large LCD display is easy to read.
