The HI766PE2 is a general purpose, penetration K-type thermocouple probe designed for use with the HI766HD probe handle and thermocouple thermometer. The extended length and round, pointed tip of the probe allows users to obtain highly accurate temperature readings of a wide variety of liquid, air, and gas samples.

The General Purpose Extended Length K-Type Thermocouple Probe – HI766PE2 is designed to measure the temperature of myriad substances, ranging from liquid to semi-solid to air and gas. The response time of a measurement is affected by the position of the sensor relative to the substance being measured. The HI766PE2 round, pointed tip construction offers a speedy 6-second response for a temperature reading. With a strong, corrosion-resistant, stainless steel construction, this probe is able to measure surfaces up to 900℃ (1650℉).
