The HI766E2 is an extended length general purpose, penetration K-type thermocouple probe with a handle designed for use with a thermocouple thermometer. A cable extends 1 m (3.3’) from the handle to the thermocouple connector with the meter. The extended length and round, pointed tip of the probe allows users to obtain highly accurate temperature readings of a wide variety of liquid, air, and gas samples.

The General Purpose Extended Length K-Type Thermocouple Probe with Handle – HI766E2 is designed to measure the temperature of myriad substances, ranging from liquid to semi-solid to air and gas. The response time of a measurement is affected by the position of the sensor relative to the substance being measured. The HI766E2 round, pointed tip construction offers a speedy 6-second response for a temperature reading. With a strong, corrosion-resistant, stainless steel construction, this probe is able to measure surfaces up to 900℃ (1650℉).
